Nas Pedrego Game Report: vs Mesa + How To Watch

Passers beware: Nas Pedrego came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made six total tackles, but sadly Salpointe Catholic still had to take a 23-14 loss at the hands of Mesa. We hope Pedrego's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Pedrego and Salpointe Catholic will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Basha at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Sadly, Pedrego's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lancers' five-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Pedrego and the Lancers surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into the 17th's match.
