Volleyball Recap: South Knox Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for South Knox, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wood Memorial Trojans on Tuesday. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 17-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Janet West paced South Knox's offense, picking up 15 kills. West got some help from Ava Steffey and her 19 assists. Braelyn Gladish controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

South Knox's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-3. As for Wood Memorial, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

South Knox wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Robinson on the 28th. As for Wood Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Tecumseh on the 28th.
