While Pace's win against Crestview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won three contests in a row.

Pace's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Crestview, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pace will face off against Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestview, they will take on Mosley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 2.6, the Dolphins 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
