Austin College and Career Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Austin College and Career Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than La'Ron Nichols, who posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deontray Bullock, who put up 20 points.

Meanwhile, Juarez took a blow against Wells on Monday, falling 96-23. The Eagles have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Austin College and Career Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Juarez, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Austin College and Career Academy against Juarez when the teams last played back in January of 2020, as the squad secured a 100-46 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
