Basketball Recap: Carrabec Comes Up Short

Carrabec and Dirigo squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Carrabec had to settle for second. They lost to the Dirigo Cougars on the road by a 43-26 margin. The game marked the Cobras' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Dirigo found their leader in sophomore Abigail Luczynski, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Ni?o, who posted six points and eight boards.

Carrabec's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Dirigo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Carrabec does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dirigo, they will face off against Madison at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Dirigo surely won't give up without a fight.
