Soccer Game Preview: Loris vs. Aynor

Loris hasn't had much luck against Aynor recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will welcome the Blue Jackets at 7:30 p.m. Loris will be strutting in after a victory while Aynor will be coming in after a defeat.

Loris proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Georgetown a 1-0 shutout. Loris haven't had any issues with Georgetown recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Loris' one-goal win came courtesy of Madelyn Abonza, which was the first she's scored this season.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Aynor and Conway, and Conway kept the tradition alive. The Blue Jackets took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Aynor in their meetings with Conway: they've now lost six in a row.

The victory got Loris back to even at 2-2. As for Aynor, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
