Volleyball Recap: Maple River Comes Up Short

Maple River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Maple River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Maple River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Richland on the 9th. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
