Recap: Niceville Eagles vs. Tate Aggies
The Niceville Eagles had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They strolled past Tate with points to spare, taking the game 60-43. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 16 to 8 on the offensive boards, as Niceville did.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Niceville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Hamman, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Anwar Conley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Tate's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Hooker, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Lucas Williams, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Niceville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Tate, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niceville will take on Pace at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pine Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
