Recap: Emmonak Huskies vs. Scammon Bay Eagles
The Emmonak Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Scammon Bay, falling 85-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Josiah Sundown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Scammon Bay, scoring 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sundown has scored all season. Stewie Sundown was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Emmonak's loss was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Scammon Bay, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
Emmonak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Scammon Bay's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Mary's at 8:30 p.m. on February 8th. One thing working in Scammon Bay's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.
