Basketball Game Preview: East vs. Harding Raiders

East is 2-8 against Harding since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. East will take on the Harding Raiders in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, East beat Poland Seminary 33-29. The win made it back-to-back victories for East.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Harding, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They really took it to Buchtel for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-11 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

Harding's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for East, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

East might still be hurting after the 47-21 loss they got from Harding in their previous matchup back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point East was down 28-7.
