Soccer Game Preview: Bishop vs. Rockport-Fulton

The Bishop Badgers will face off against the Rockport-Fulton Pirates at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Bishop's offense. They came up short against London on Friday, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, the Badgers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 747th, while the Pirates are ranked 247th).

Despite a strong season so far, Rockport-Fulton has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-1 to Jones on Friday. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Pirates it sure didn't stay that way.

Rockport-Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Bishop, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
