Basketball Recap: Arts Takes a Loss

Arts lost against St. Joseph Regional back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Arts Jaguars took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Joseph Regional Green Knights.

St. Joseph Regional was led to victory by Jahmir Joseph and Anthony Pacciarelli. Joseph went 7 for 15 on his way to 19 points and three steals, while Pacciarelli almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Tom Diomedi also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Arts' loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for St. Joseph Regional, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Arts didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-54 defeat against Seton Hall Prep on the 29th. St. Joseph Regional has also already played their next contest, a 68-51 victory against NV - Old Tappan on the 28th.
