Here are 10 national standouts who starred during the regular season but figure to make even larger impacts during state-title runs.
2. Zack Langer
School: Jenks (Jenks, Okla.)Position: Running Back
Grade: Senior
The 6-foot, 190-pound senior running back returned from injury last week and ran 23 times for 117 yards in a 23-7 win over Broken Arrow. After a three-week layoff he should be fresh for the playoffs. He gained 829 in the playoffs alone last year when he went for 2,200 overall. If history dictates, Jenks should make another deep run into the playoffs and Langer will likely be the difference.
