Soccer Game Preview: Bay vs. St. Stanislaus

Bay hasn't had much luck against St. Stanislaus recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Rock-a-Chaws at 7:00 p.m.

Bay is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Mississippi's top teams: Petal, who was ranked seventh at the time (Bay was ranked 22nd). The Tigers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Bay couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, St. Stanislaus gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Long Beach 2-1. Winning may never get old, but St. Stanislaus sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bay's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for St. Stanislaus, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-2.
