Basketball Recap: Caiden Peterman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Franklin over Blue Hill

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost to the Blue Hill Bobcats on the road by a 57-40 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flyers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-24 two weeks ago.

Franklin's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caiden Peterman, who posted 18 points along with six assists and five steals. Those 18 points gave Peterman a new career-high. Eldon Haack was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Blue Hill, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-22 victory against Harvard on the 3rd. Blue Hill has also already played their next matchup (against Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
