Baseball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Skyline Eagles, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-3 loss on Monday.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Skyline, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-8-1.

Monroe has already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Crestwood on the 8th. As for Skyline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Flat Rock on the 8th.
