Amherst entered their tilt with Twin River on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0.

Addy Simmons paced Amherst's offense, picking up seven kills. Simmons got some help from Kenna Hagan and her nine assists.

Amherst's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Twin River, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Amherst and Twin River will both be playing Adams Central the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
