Soccer Recap: Johnson Extends Winning Streak to Three

Johnson's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the LEE Volunteers 2-1. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by just one goal.

The win (which was Johnson's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 7-3-1 Madison (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 62.4% over those games). As for LEE, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2-1.

Johnson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for LEE, they will head out on the road to take on Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
