Volleyball Recap: Wakefield School Fighting Owls vs. Highland Hawks

Wakefield School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Highland Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Owls of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 25-12.

Leading Highland to victory were Katie Johnson and Sarah Johnson. Katie had eight aces and two kills, while Sarah had 20 assists. With that strong performance, Katie is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.
