Basketball Recap: Jordan Cortez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Buhach Colony over Atwater

Buhach Colony played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Atwater Falcons, falling 67-45. The Thunder have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Buhach Colony lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jordan Cortez, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carter Chapman, who posted 11 points and six boards.

Buhach Colony's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Atwater, they moved to 19-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
