Flag Football Recap: Citizens Christian Academy Starts off Right with Win over First Preparatory Christian Academy

Citizens Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They really took it to the First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-8 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Brilynn Waldron threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. Arabelle Roberts was her top target, picking up 142 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Citizens Christian Academy and First Preparatory Christian Academy will both be playing Memorial Day the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Matadors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Highlanders will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
