Soccer Recap: Ware County Drops Season-High Score on Cook

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ware County). They put the hurt on the Cook Hornets with a sharp 11-1 victory on Friday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Ware County's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Cook are ranked 457th).

Ware County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those seven matchups. As for Cook, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-16-1.

As of now, neither Ware County nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
