Soccer Recap: Columbus Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Columbus was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Waupun Warriors finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Columbus' goal came courtesy of Finnegan Denewellis, which was the first he's scored this season.

Columbus' draw gives them a new season record of 6-8-1. Meanwhile, Waupun's record is now 5-10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will square off against Winneconne at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waupun, they will face off against Sheboygan Falls at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Waupun will be up against Sheboygan Falls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.93 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
