Basketball Recap: North Kingstown Skippers vs. Central Knights
North Kingstown lost against Central last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The North Kingstown Skippers took an 85-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Knights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (73), the Skippers still had to take the loss.
Several Skippers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Berthelot, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 21 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Berthelot continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Michael Deorsey was another key player, going 8 for 16 en route to 19 points and six rebounds.
