Soccer Game Preview: Clemens vs. Anderson

The Clemens Buffaloes will be taking part in a tournament against the Anderson Trojans at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clemens' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Clemens' offense. They lost 6-0 to Westlake on Friday.

Meanwhile, Anderson also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Midlothian Heritage on Friday, falling 3-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Clemens, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Clemens took their victory against Anderson in their previous meeting back in January of 2018 by a conclusive 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clemens since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
