Lakewood scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 27-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boulder Panthers. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Lakewood still got an impressive performance from Caleb Garcia, who picked up 98 receiving yards and two scores.

Benny Hovermale was a one-man wrecking crew For Boulder. as he picked up 54 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 44 yards and one TD. Those 44 rushing yards gave Hovermale a new career-high. Ethan Toth was another key player, having thrown for 258 yards and two touchdowns.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Boulder, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
