Conrad is 8-2 against Cut Bank since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cowboys will venture away from home to face off against the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Conrad will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Conrad took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Shelby. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cowboys as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Evagelene Denzer made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Denzer was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sierra Dockter, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Neveah Hepp was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Conrad always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Cut Bank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Shepherd, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly ten runs.
Conrad pushed their record up to 7-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Cut Bank, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
Conrad took their win against Cut Bank when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 12-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cowboys since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
