Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Troy). They never let the Canton Warriors get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Trojans have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Camden Allen, who gave up just a hit to keep Canton off the board.

On the hitting side, Reed Palmer was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in March. Mason Smith was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Troy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in five consecutive matches.

Troy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Canton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

The timing is sure in the Trojans' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Sabres have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
