Soccer Game Preview: South Seneca vs. Naples

The South Seneca Falcons will face off against the Naples Big Green Machines at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

South Seneca came up short against Campbell-Savona on Monday, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, South Seneca can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while Campbell-Savona are ranked 113th).

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Naples' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They and Bloomfield finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Naples happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 26th.

Naples' draw gives them a new season record of 9-2-1. As for South Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
