Fleming Island has gone 5-0 against Columbia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Fleming Island Golden Eagles will head out to take on the Columbia Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Columbia entered their tilt with Suwannee on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 2-0 shutout. Give the Tigers' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Nathan Matsubara and Cody Bass scored both of Columbia's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Fleming Island's draw gives them a new season record of 8-1-4. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season.

Everything went Fleming Island's way against Columbia in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, as Fleming Island made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fleming Island since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
