Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Emmitt Griggs stepped things up a notch to give Etna the 'W'. Griggs wasn't messing around, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The contest was his fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Griggs' strong effort led Etna over Maxwell and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Etna will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 269 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
