Volleyball Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

The Uniontown Eagles came up short against the Waverly Bulldogs on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Uniontown has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Waverly, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Uniontown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cherryvale on the 27th. As for Waverly, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 tie against Dexter on the 27th.
