Basketball Game Preview: Harding Knights vs. Highland Park Scots

Harding hasn't had much luck against Highland Park recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Harding Knights will look to defend their home court against the Highland Park Scots at 7:00 p.m. Harding knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Highland Park likes a good challenge.

Harding is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since March 6, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Johnson by a score of 62-60.

Meanwhile, Highland Park came up short against New Prague on Saturday and fell 63-52.

Highland Park has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points per game. As for Harding, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Harding barely slipped by Highland Park in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 82-81. Does Harding have another victory up their sleeve, or will Highland Park turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
