Soccer Game Preview: Dripping Springs vs. Austin

The Dripping Springs Tigers will square off against the Austin Maroons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Dripping Springs and Akins finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

The Tigers hit the Eagles with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lane Hahnel, Trip Dickens, and Trey Gonczeruk.

Meanwhile, Austin didn't have quite enough to beat Del Valle on Thursday and fell 2-1. Austin haven't had much luck with Del Valle recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dripping Springs' draw makes their record 3-4-2 this season. As for Austin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-1.

Dripping Springs beat Austin by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, winning 3-2. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Maroons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
