Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mechanicsville). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the John Marshall Justices 61-0. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Justices, too.

The victory got Mechanicsville back to even at 2-2. As for John Marshall, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Mechanicsville will square off against Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for John Marshall, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on King William at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
