Baseball Recap: Peetz Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Peetz can now relate to. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Akron Rams on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Peetz saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Wagner, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Peetz's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Akron, their record is now 15-4.

Peetz does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Akron, they will face off against Merino at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Merino will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Akron surely won't give up without a fight.
