Volleyball Recap: Stamford Wins Going Away Against Harding

Stamford won the last time they faced Harding and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Black Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Presidents. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Knights.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Stamford was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-8.

Alec Antipuesto paced Stamford's offense, picking up seven kills. Antipuesto got some help from Ethan Taylor and his 16 assists. Taylor was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Stamford's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Stamford is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Bunnell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harding, they will face off against Darien at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
