Basketball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Side last Friday, Polytechnic came back down to earth. The Polytechnic Parrots were dealt an 80-36 loss at the hands of the Paschal Panthers on Tuesday. The Parrots haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Paschal, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing South Hills the next time they take the court. Paschal will host South Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Polytechnic will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
