It was a good run, but Brantley unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Straughn Tigers by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Brantley's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Straughn, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brantley will challenge Highland Home at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Straughn, they will welcome Pike County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
