Football Recap: Alpharetta Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 10-10 at halftime, Alpharetta was not quite Lambert's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a hard 34-17 fall against the Longhorns. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Longhorns from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Matthew Schletty threw for 205 yards and a pair of TDs. Kyron Pipes was his top target, picking up 90 receiving yards.

Alpharetta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lambert, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Alpharetta will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Lambert, they will be playing at home against Forsyth Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
