Volleyball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy managed to slip by Foothill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Knights on Tuesday. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-9.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Foothill, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

Troy and Foothill could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Warriors will take on El Dorado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (304 vs. 129). Meanwhile, Foothill (ranked 68th) will meet Crean Lutheran (ranked 18th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
