Softball Recap: Washington's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Washington had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the California Trojans on Thursday. Considering the Prexies have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Washington's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-6. As for California, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

As of now, neither Washington nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
