Basketball Recap: Mattituck Gets the Win

Mattituck won the last time they faced Babylon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mattituck Tuckers snuck past the Babylon Panthers with a 43-37 win.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Peyton Logue - Boyd, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Fiedler, who earned ten points.

Mattituck's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Babylon, they moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Mattituck didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-23 win against Southampton on the 14th. As for Babylon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-40 victory against Center Moriches on the 14th.
