It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Scotland ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Triton Hawks 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Fighting Scots as they're now sitting on four straight.

Scotland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Triton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Scotland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-2 loss against South View on the 29th. As for Triton, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Westover on the 25th.
