It was a good run, but Mater Bay Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 50-25 to the Hebrew Academy Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Rays couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the defeat, Mater Bay Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Shandon Bullard posted 15 points and five steals. Bullard continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Mater Bay Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Hebrew Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Mater Bay Academy will venture away from home to challenge Coral Shores at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hebrew Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Katz Yeshiva at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
