Triton Central proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Eastern Hancock Royals 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since May 13, 2024.

Nick Riggins was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Eli Sego, who went 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.

Triton Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Triton Central's record is now 5-2. As for Eastern Hancock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
