Basketball Recap: University School Buccaneers vs. Cherokee Chiefs
University School was the 72-44 winner over Cherokee when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The University School Buccaneers took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee Chiefs.
University School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cherokee, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.
University School will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Washburn at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cherokee, they will welcome Dobyns-Bennett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
