Baseball Recap: Vista Ridge Comes Up Short

Vista Ridge was the 2-0 winner over McNeil when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Vista Ridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for McNeil, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Vista Ridge and McNeil will both be playing Cedar Ridge the next time they take the field. The Rangers will head out to face the Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Mavericks will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
