Basketball Recap: Kelvyn Park Wins Going Away Against Douglass

Kelvyn Park had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point drubbing they dealt Douglass on Thursday. Everything went the Kelvyn Park Panthers' way against the Douglass Tigers as the Kelvyn Park Panthers made off with a 48-23 win. The game marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season.

Kelvyn Park's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Douglass, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Kelvyn Park will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chicago Tech at 4:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Douglass, they will venture away from home to take on Collins at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Collins knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Douglass likes a good challenge.
