Volleyball Recap: Trinity Academy Tigers vs. Calvary Day School Cougars

Trinity Academy and Calvary Day School squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Trinity Academy had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calvary Day School Cougars. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-14 in the first set.

Trinity Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Trinity Academy saw an underclassman step up: Brinna Backholm had 12 digs.
